After twenty years in TV production and three sons I took a degree in Fine Art at the University of Hertfordshire. Inspired by Ingmar Bergman’s films and Strindberg’s play ‘The Ghost Sonata’, I created a video installation which explored the darker side of motherhood and post-natal depression. The installation played with scale - black furniture suspended in a room, a film backdrop of plates spinning and music by Gorecki. The viewers inclusion and experience within the installation, played a vital part in the work.

I have recently developed fine line pencil/pastel drawings that sit somewhere between realism and fantasy.

I am an art technician at a local comprehensive school and I also make short educational films for schools that focus on cross-curricular learning.
